Some kids grow up with a silver spoon in their hand, but Mike Fries grew up holding a hammer. Starting out as a kid helping his father and brothers build homes, Mike entered the building scene just after his junior year of high school and by 1978, he went on to become the superintendent of construction for 20th Century Homes. In the mid-eighties, Mike started his own business building and designing luxury and lake homes, and has since built numerous high-end homes throughout Northeast Indiana.

Self Employed as a general contractor since 1984, Mike has designed and built many homes in Northeastern Indiana, along with numerous light commercial projects. Mike's home building company, Fries Brothers, specializes in custom luxury and lake homes. Mike genuinely enjoys assisting clients in listing and selling their current home, and in locating the property on which to build their new home. He obtained his real estate license in 1998.
